For those of you that do not know how the law of attraction works basically, you attract what you think about most of the time. What I mean by most of the time is what you think about most.
Now this works for good or bad it makes no difference, your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between good and evil. So if you’re thinking about all the bad things you do not want to happen in your life what you are actually doing is attracting them, making them happen in your life.
Your subconscious mind takes what you think about, most of the day, and sets out to make it happen in the most efficient way possible. I have been studying the law of attraction for many years and it easy for me to just look at someone, listen to them for a few minutes and know exactly why they are getting what they’re getting.
For example, recently a good friend of mine almost got mugged at an ATM machine. She was withdrawing cash and a person approached her very fast trying to cover their face. She screamed and the person ran away. She called 911 and fortunately they caught the person a block away.
Later we were talking and she said that was one of her worst fears. She admitted that every time she went to the ATM machine she was worried someone was going to come up from behind and rob her. Well, I hate to say it but she finally got what she was thinking about. She attracted it into her life.
Another person I know very well hates spiders. She can go into any room and spot a spider where no one else would even notice it. She thinks about and worries about spiders all the time, well guess what? Currently her house is overrun with black widow spiders.
Here’s another example. A person I knew roughly 8 years ago had the biggest fear of becoming homeless. At the time she owned her own condo, had a good job and was doing well. It sort of became a joke after a while between her friends.
They even bought her a mini shopping cart for her birthday as a joke, so she would have it when she became homeless. No one really thought it would ever happen but guess what? She is currently homeless. You really do get what you think about.
I haven’t seen her in many years and recently ran into her and she looked terrible. She told me she had gotten sick, ran up a huge hospital bill and ended up losing her condo, her job and her savings. She was currently living in her car or staying on a friend’s couch.
It’s amazing to see the law of attraction happening in real life. You can tell from the examples above exactly why they got what they got. It’s from thinking the way they think.
You really do attract what you think about. An email I received recently asking me for help was from a man from up north. He stated that no one would hire him and could not get a job and he was in a terrible situation right now. He went on to say how he was too old, he wasn’t smart enough, he did have the right degree, no one would hire him.
I wrote back to him and explained look at what you are writing out, this is what you believe, this is what is in your head of course you’re not going to get a job. Your sabotaging your changes before you even go on an interview. Your have little to no chance of getting a job thinking like that.
We emailed back and forth over the next week and I explained to him the way he should be thinking. Picture the job you want, imagine that you already got the job and are working there now. Feel it. How would it feel to get up every morning and drive to that job? What would you say to your coworkers? What you do every day? How would it feel to get your paycheck at the end of the week and deposit it into your bank so you can pay off your bills? It feels great great? This is what you want…. I think he finally got the idea because a week later he emailed me back and said he got the job that he wanted the most!
Positive affirmations work great, we all know that, and that has been proven. But it’s hard to walk around all day repeating the same thing, so most people don’t do it after a few days.
